  • How much does a Bali hut cost?

    Bali Huts can range drastically in price, they start from around $2000 for a small Australian made one. You can get cheap imported ones that last only a few years or you can get a solid Australian made one like ours that could last your lifetime.

  • What sizes and colours do they come in?

    Standard sizes are in 0.5m increments, i.e. 3x3m, 3×3.5m, 3×4, 3×4.5 and so on. The Colorbond roofing is available in all standard Colorbond colours. You can also choose your stain colour too.

  • How are your gazebos and Bali huts measured?

    Each Gazebo or Bali hut is measured from the outside of a beam to the outside of a beam. Then there’s an additional area where the roof overhangs, which is the shade area. Multisided Gazebos are actually designed from point to point – so the measurement of 3.5 meters is point to point.

  • What warranty do I receive with your gazebos and Bali huts?

    All our gazebos and Bali huts have a 10-year structural warranty, and 25-year guarantee against rot and termites.

  • Are your Bali Huts waterproof?

    After a Bali Hut is installed it will be waterproof for the life of the thatching.

  • Does Balinese thatching lower the temperature?

    Our temperature control thatching is one of a kind, the way it has been hand thatched allows any hot air to escape at the same time as keeping the cool air in. you can experience temperatures up to 10 degrees cooler under your Bali Hut in summer!

  • How big can my Bali Hut or Gazebo be?

    In NSW the guidelines state, no bigger than 25 Square Meters without planning approval. A 5-meter Gazebo is pretty big though!

  • How to install Bali Thatching?

    To be honest, Thatching isn’t that hard to do, its the quality of the finish, the spacings and the Mud Bugs that go on the corners that make a tidy, waterproof, high-quality Bali hut. as long as you have the right tools for the job including a nail gun and a compressor, all you have to do Is space your thatching at 65mm intervals.

  • What kind of timber do you use in your Bali Huts and Gazebos?

    The posts we use are usually an Australian Hardwood or Seasoned Cypress Pine and the roof frames are constructed with a high pressure-treated pine and come with a 25-year rot free guarantee.

  • What are your lead times from the day we put a deposit?

    Depending on the time of year usually 6 – 8 weeks, but this can be fast tracked for any urgent projects.

  • Are your Bali Huts and Gazebos Cyclone rated?

    We have the ability in house to design and manufacture your Gazebo / Bali Hut to a C2 Cyclone rating, please not engineering sign off costs will be extra but only charged at cost price.

  • What is the roof pitch of your Bali Huts and Gazebos?

    Bali huts are generally 35-degree pitch, allowing adequate fall for water runoff to stop any pooling of water. Any other Gazebo we would normally manufacture at a 25-degree pitch.

  • My Bali Hut thatching is not very tidy, is this normal?

    Once installed professionally, your Bali Hut should have been hosed and raked to bring the thatching to its final resting place. You will also notice after a few good rainfalls your roof will look much more settled.
